Day 3 – Welcome back kidlets

Today the students came to school. Year 7, 11 and 12 started first and tomorrow the rest start up. It’s 28 degrees Celcius and incredibly muggy.  If it was a nice sunny day, I wouldn’t whinge but again today it is overcast and gross! After a morning of orientation and helping the year 7s settle in, I taught 3 classes and had some fantastic one-liners: “Is Italy in the shape of a pizza?” “Christopher Columbus left Europe and sailed left…Because if he had gone right he would have encountered pirates”

Today’s onedaydress look? From my favourite store Stellino in Newtown I’m wearing a newish shirt, Betty Boop black travel skirt – one of the BEST purchases I ever made from Ciao Bella Travel – as well as a great travel wardrobe, these guys also stock travel accessories from jewellery/make-up bags to wallets and skin, hair and beauty products, red bow headband from Adelaide’s Rundle Mall market and BCBG pumps.

  3. Kate – love this blog!
And I am in total agreement on two things from today – Stellino and Ciao Bella – have you seen the latter’s cute leather travel wallets etc – they are divine.
