One of my year 7 classes has lots of clowns in the room. Unexpectedly, one of the boys asked me why I had never worn the same thing twice, so I told them about the blog. EVERY SINGLE lesson since that day there are 3 or 4 boys who tease me before we go into the classroom by saying “are you sure you’ve never worn that before?” “i’m sure we have seen that outfit earlier in the year”. I think they think they are funny. Maybe it was the first time…
Also in that class is a boy who comes from a farming background. He spends a fair chunk of time at the agriculture centre. This week there is a beef bonanza in the eastern region of the state. Basically these ag kids take their cows over and compete to see who has the best cows in the state in each category (sorry my explanation is a bit lame, I’ve never been to one of these. Please don’t judge). Anyway I was asking him about his cow out of pure interest. One of the first questions I asked was the cow’s name. He got very, very shy. I could tell it was going to be a naughty name. So what was it? This went on for a while… look up the word “Queef” that is his cow’s name. How inappropriate is that? And also, who that queef was even a word???!?!?! Evolution of language.
Hope that made you smile.
